Gait Study

Lopes

In a lope each foot lands and pushes off independently of the other with the hind feet landing independently. In a track pattern lopes will present as groups of four tracks with one of the two hind feet registering ahead of both front feet (versus both hind feet landing ahead of the front feet in a gallop).
